The fun-to-drive factor is a key strength of any Chevrolet vehicle. This is especially true for the sports cars in the Chevy lineup, like the iconic Camaro and Corvette. Those same vehicles are now being recognized for how much of a joy they are to drive.

Both the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro and 2021 Chevrolet Corvette were featured on the U.S. News and World Report 10 Best Muscle Cars for 2021 list.

The Camaro impressed the panel of judges thanks to its collection of connectivity features and technologies. U.S. News and World Report was also impressed by the amount of power that the 2021 Camaro model was capable of producing: up to 650 horsepower with its most optimized powertrain configuration.

Meanwhile, the recently-redesigned Chevrolet Corvette earned a near-perfect performance score of 9.5 out of 10. The new mid-engine design of the Corvette allows this legendary performance vehicle to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds, making it the fastest version of the Corvette to hit the road yet.

Choice of Engine

The 2021 Trax comes with a 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. The Trailblazer offers two engine choices: a standard 1.2-liter turbo engine that produces 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque with a Continuously Variable Transmission, and an EcoTec® 1.3-liter turbo engine with 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft torque paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both small SUVs can be equipped with all-wheel drive.

More Space

While both compact SUVs are very similar in size, the Trailblazer has a bit more cargo room. The Trailblazer has 25.3 cubic feet of space in the back and 54.4 cubic feet with the seats folded down. The Trax offers 18.7 cubic feet and 48.4 cubic feet, respectively.

If technology is important to you in a vehicle, the all-new Trailblazer is the way to go. It offers available wireless smartphone connectivity and a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot. An 8-inch infotainment touch screen and wireless charging are also available. The Trax does have smartphone connectivity, but you’ll need to connect with a USB cord.

Car and Driver Names Two Chevy Pickups to List of Best Used Trucks

Car and Driver recently named two Chevrolet models to its list of the Best Used Trucks. This includes the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and the Chevrolet S10 – which was later replaced by the midsize Colorado. Both of these models offer long-term reliability, affordability, and performance, which makes them a smart buy for any car shopper.

Used vehicles have been in especially high demand in recent years. That’s because used models help you avoid the initial depreciation of new cars, and most cars are more reliable than ever before. So, you take less of a risk when buying used than in previous decades. Car and Driver measured criteria ranging from capabilities and reliability to decide that the Chevy Silverado 1500 and the S10 were its top picks for used trucks.

The Silverado 1500 is a top choice among used trucks because it can tow heavy loads, drive in the city without guzzling gas, and it has a wide range of features and trims available. The 4.8-liter and 5.3-liter engine options combine power with fuel economy, and the first-generation Silverado 1500 is an especially good bargain for anyone looking to spend less. Plus, Chevy parts are easy to come by, which means repairs and maintenance won’t cost more than many competitors.

The S10 ZR2 is the predecessor to the Colorado, and it comes with a dedicated off-road design. Between 1994 and 2003, the S10 ZR2 came with a particularly sturdy frame, a tuned suspension (with Bilstein shocks and 31-inch tires), and a 4.3-liter V6 that had an impressive 250 lb-ft of torque. For those who want an affordable, off-road-ready truck, the S10 ZR2 is the way to go. Check out the Colorado for a more recent design that carries over many of the S10 model’s best qualities.
