For the seventh year in a row, CiderFest NC will be raising money for the Green Built Alliance. At the festival, held October 12th, you can taste hard cider, mead, and apple wine. There will also be live music, a kids’ zone, workshops, and local food.
Fall LEAF Festival
Come to Lake Eden in the Blue Ridge Mountains to celebrate the Fall LEAF Festival. Celebrating its 24th year, this event will be held October 17th through the 20th. The LEAF Festival typically attracts crowds of around 12,000 people over the course of the week with its charms and appealing combination of live music, art, adventure, and culinary experiences. Tickets start at $46.
This annual family-friendly Halloween festival is held at the WNC Nature Center. It will be held on October 26th from 10 am to 4 pm, and will include a costume contest, a hay maze, face painting, arts and crafts, and other activities throughout the day. Regular admission applies. Members get in free.
