When Chevy first announced the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, it was hard not to get excited. After all, this new Tahoe boasted more space and technology than previous iterations of the SUV.

Unfortunately, with vehicle production partially halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Tahoe was one of the many Chevy models to have its production delayed.

The good news is that Chevrolet is officially starting production back up for the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Of course, due to ongoing limitations, the release of the Tahoe will still be staggered a bit. Chevrolet plans to get base models of the Tahoe out on dealership lots soon, with more high-end models following suit shortly thereafter.

Families in particular will find plenty to love about the latest Chevy Tahoe model. The third row seats have seen some major expansions, with 40 percent more legroom for those passengers. Meanwhile, if families don’t need the rear seats, they can fold them down to open up a maximum of 122.9 cubic feet of cargo space. Combine that with a standard safety suite that includes features like Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Alert, and it’s not hard to see why the new Tahoe is one of the most highly-anticipated family vehicles of the 2021 model year.

Here at Asheville Chevrolet, we are excited to see this incredible new iteration of the legendary Tahoe start making its way to dealerships like ours in the near future.

Purchasing an electric vehicle is beneficial for numerous reasons like reduced fuel costs and fewer harmful emissions. That’s why Chevrolet produced the Bolt EV Academy video series online. Its goal is to inform you about the myriad advantages of driving an all-electric vehicle like the 2020 Chevy Bolt EV, with information straight from the engineers who designed it.

The Bolt EV Academy hits on topics like charging, infotainment systems, storage capacity, and safety. The series continues into the innovative one-pedal driving feature that accelerates when pressed down and decelerates when released. You can find videos on the regen-on-demand that captures energy from braking to power the battery, or tutorials on personalizing the safety systems.

The release of the Bolt EV Academy comes at the perfect time, as electrified vehicles continue to grow in popularity year after year and people are hungrier for streaming content than ever before. One of the fastest-growing trends in the automotive industry at the moment is the emergence of EVs. With so many electric vehicles arriving in automakers’ lineups, it can be hard to stand out. Still, that is precisely what the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV has managed to do.

After all, the signature Chevy EV cemented its place on Kelley Blue Book’s list of the 10 Longest-Range Electric Cars of 2020.

The chief feature that managed to impress the editors at Kelley Blue Book was the vehicle’s new extended range. Thanks to some recent upgrades, the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV can now travel 259 miles on a single charge and manages to achieve an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 118 MPGe*.

“The Bolt is quick, quiet, compliant, and versatile. It makes an excellent city car or runabout, and with some planning for recharges can even be a road-tripper,” commented a group of KBB editors.

The 2020 Bolt EV is also a technological juggernaut in other ways. For example, its 10.2-inch diagonal touch screen is not only advanced, but easy to use, allowing you to access all of the apps that matter most on the go.

You can learn just how technologically advanced this EV is for yourself when you visit Asheville Chevrolet and take the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV out for a test drive.

There are some exciting changes coming to the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, including new exterior color options and new badging. However, one of the most substantial updates is to the trim levels of the 2021 Colorado.

The 2021 Colorado will no longer offer its base trim. As such, the truck’s first trim level will now be the Work Truck. For the 2020 model year, these two trims have many similarities, though the Work Truck does have some additional features, like carpeted floormats and dual rear seats with under-seat storage.

The main reason behind cutting the base trim is that many drivers preferred the Work Truck trim because of its wider range of standard and available amenities. Accordingly, Chevrolet spokesperson Chris Bonelli said, “We believe Colorado will remain very competitively priced in the mid-size truck segment and will see continued strong sales fueled by its fresh new look. ”

Each 2021 Colorado model has an impressive new design with an upgraded tailgate and grille along with unique badging. The truck rides on 17-inch wheels and gives you more color options with Dune Metallic, Cherry Bomb Tintcoat and Pow Zinga Metallic.

We at Asheville Chevrolet look forward to adding the upcoming 2021 Chevrolet Colorado to our inventory. Check out the current models we have in stock in Asheville, North Carolina, by viewing our online selection.
